For the presentation of the 2021 bridal collection, the Atelier Emé company chose the setting of the Saline Culcasi to shoot the television commercial broadcast on all Italian channels.
The commercial combines the beauty and magic of the views of the Trapani salt pans with the romance that accompanies one of the most important days in the life of brides. The models dressed in light and seductive dresses, walk like nymphs on the water's surface among the salt pans, while all around pink dominates the scene.
With this enchanted, almost fairytale-like setting, the boutique presents its 2021 collection to future brides with the desire to color their love story pink (as their hashtag #EmePinkDream suggests).
The photography and styling of the models are respectively by Stefania Paparelli and Patrizia Leuzzi, who have translated the commercial into a tribute to the beauty of Italian and Sicilian landscapes, such as the Trapani salt pans, offering them a key to a dreamy vision. The advertising campaign was celebrated by numerous industry magazines, including Elle and Grazia, for the beauty of the location and the message of love for nature conveyed to viewers.
The location: the Trapani Salt Pans and the Salt Museum
The commercial was filmed entirely at Saline Culcasi, located in Nubia between Trapani and Paceco, within the Saline di Trapani e Paceco Nature Reserve.
Salina Culcasi is one of the most evocative salt pans in Sicily, which carries on the tradition of an ancient craft. The salt pan in fact produces artisanal sea salt and carries out tourist activities that attract nature lovers and explorers of the Trapani coast. In the spot, you can see the salt pans painted pink (a typical summer color) and the salt pan baglio (or casa salaria) which houses a precious mill windmill.
Inside the mill you can visit the Salt Museum, a true treasure chest of history. Inside the Salt Museum, ancient salt workers' tools are kept, and you can observe up close the gears and the functioning of an old mill, as well as numerous photo-testimonies of life in the salt pans of the past.
