Garlic red and white salt in Nubia

An event full of curiosity. A mix of entertainment that involves young and old.

Since 2008 the Culcasi family in collaboration with the Municipality of Paceco and the Trapani salt pans reserve managed by the WWF, is committed to enhancing through the event "Red Garlic White Salt" an artisanal and traditional work that is little considered today by the new generations.

A gastronomic festival and more, held in the months of August - September with a duration of 2-3 days.

The event offers the opportunity to witness the harvesting of salt according to traditional methods and the weaving of Nubian red garlic. During the event there will be various stands of food and wine producers, with the opportunity to taste the typical dishes of Trapani. Music and entertainment accompany the audience in this fantastic experience!
