The Riserva del Mare orange flavoured fior di sale is a blend with an intense taste and a Mediterranean scent.
The Sicilian oranges chosen for our product are free of pesticides and other treatments used in agriculture.
The process to obtain the mixture is as follows: the oranges are selected and washed from any residues, and then only 1 millimetre of peel is peeled, thus separating the bitter white part of the same.
Afterwards the peels are dried for 8-10 hours in low temperature ovens and finally they are chopped and mixed with our fior di sale salt.
Orange peel contains a wide variety of nutrients that improve our body; such as the prevention of cholesterol, the reduction of cardiovascular risks, stroke and hypertension.
It is also an excellent fighter against acidity and digestive problems.
